garlic scapes and garlic bulbs, organic non-certified About Us In 1973,we moved to this 185 acre property which had been farmed for over 100 years.In the 36 years we have lived here,we have had a cow/calf operation, horses and pigs along with laying and meat chickens.Besides looking after the animals with much needed advice from neighbours and help from our 4 children,we had businesses.We have always had a huge organic vegetable garden which included garlic.A few years ago, our son Mike encouraged us to grow larger crops of garlic as he thought the stronger taste in the garlic and onions we produce must be due to our soil.
