Soy Wax candles: votives, tea lights, pillar, container Browse through our Products for Sale Ingredients I use EcoSoya waxes in all my candles. Soy wax is both environmentally and socially responsible, as it is naturally-based and supports North American farmers. The EcoSoya waxes used in my candles are made with Pure Soybean oil and enhanced with selected botanical oils. EcoSoya waxes are all natural and biodegradable, and are manufactured meeting U.S. FDA and Kosher standards. These waxes are both environmentally friendly, and vegan conscious, as they contain NO pesticides and NO herbicides, NO petroleum, paraffin or beeswax products, NO toxic materials and NO Genetically Modified Material. Soy wax is considered GRAS under the U.S. Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Furthermore, my soy candle waxes are NOT subject to animal testing. I colour my candles with non-toxic dye, and use pure essential oils for aromatherapy, eliminating the need for synthetic fragrances. I use lead-free paper wicks, and I am in the process of switching entirely to hemp wick. Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) I make all my candles by hand in small batches in my (smoke-free) home. The various pressed flora embedded in some of my candles have been organically grown in my home garden or sustainably wildcrafted in the surrounding area.
