Maple Syrup, maple sugar, maple jelly, maple sugar candies About Us Grampa Bob and Gramma Marg have been making maple syrup naturally for 27 years, following in Bob's grandparents and 2 uncle's footsteps. They have 2700 taps in now in the Quadeville area, before that they were tapping in the Waterloo, ON area. They belong to the Ontario MSPA, and won a trophy for 'best new exhibitor' in Lanark County 10 years ago. Browse through our Products for Sale Ingredients 100% Pure concentrated local maple sap, from maple trees in a clean wilderness area. Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) Naturally processed, certified with a 'Seal of Quality' (operation inspected every two years to make sure everything is of the highest quality). No pork fat is used in the boiling process, instead another vegetarian man-made natural anti-foaming agent is used. No fungicides are used in the taps as in some other operations, instead the taps are cleaned with Javex and air, and then rinsed thoroughly with water before use. We have also become a good management practice producer with the Ontario food safety initiative program. |
