About Us
Jack and I have been running our business for 12 years. Starting in our kitchen and still there. At first I made soap, rendering down fat on my cook stove, using spices from my cupboard for a scent and color and used the softest of water(rainwater). Later I decided to use our goat's milk to make a totally different soap. You can see us at Art and Craft shows in the summer and in the winter. Opeongo farm is a tourist area for people to see the goats and see how we make soap. We are on the 17th Annual Madawaska Studio Tour. www.madawaskastudiotour.com. Ingredients
For our soaps we use our own goat's milk from the ladies and the extra goes towards the best goat milk soaps around. The goats graze and as you know, goats, they need a little this and a little that and not the clothes off your line. We feed our goats local square baled hay that we bartered for. Gord our friend delivers our hay in his car or hauls it in a wagon behind his car. We never have sick goats unless one gets hurt normally by running in between the rocks. Fortunately this hardly ever happens. We also collect the wonderful rainwater to make the other soaps beside Goat's Milk. These soaps are more colorful because the cream in the milk makes the soaps natural a cream color. Herbs, spices, grains, flowers, add to the texture and scent to make the soaps a delight to see and use.

Practices (our standards for raising or making our products)
Jack and I have raised goats for almost 30 years on our small farm. Our soaps are made in our kitchen using either 35% goat's milk or from our collection of rainwater. We use herbs and spices, essential oils and some fragrance oils. Our soaps can be seen in gift stores, health food stores, used for scuba divers, 6 stores in Japan and you can order on line or come and have a tour to see how we make soap. Additional Information
Our goats are used for their wonderful milk and the rest of the milk is made into soap. We collect rainwater to add to our soaps to give a proper PH balance for healthy skin.
